Privacy policy.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Quentory handles personal data with care. This privacy policy explains which data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Quentory is the data controller for the processing of personal data through this website.

2. Which data we process

We only process data you provide yourself or that is technically necessary to run the website:

  • Scan form: your name, company name, website address and email address.
  • Email and phone: the details you share when you contact us.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider briefly records technical data (such as IP address) for security and stability.

We use no tracking or marketing cookies and no third-party analytics. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so no data is sent to external parties such as Google. See also our cookie statement.

3. What we use your data for

  • Performing the free AI visibility scan and sending you the report (legal basis: performance of a contract at your request).
  • Contact about your request and possible follow-up (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  • Securing and improving our website (legal basis: legitimate interest).

For the scan we only analyse publicly available information about your business, such as your website and the answers of AI platforms. We share the results with you only. We never sell your data and do not use it for automated decision-making with legal effects.

4. How long we keep data

We keep scan form data for a maximum of 12 months after the last contact, unless a client relationship is established. In that case we keep data for as long as needed for the collaboration and the statutory (tax) retention periods.

5. Who we share data with

We only share personal data with parties needed to deliver our services, such as our hosting provider. Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to requests.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. Send your request to hello@quentory.nl; we respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy, for example when our services change. The current version is always on this page; the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
